The summer learning journey art book

On Monday we started our first Summer learning journey activity. We re-did a picture that an Artist Drew and coloured the Teacher said that we could do two or more if we finished the first one quickly enough but I didn't really get to because I wasn't quick doing mine.

Anyways at least I got to finish one picture take a look! and the other one on the left is the original picture watch the artist drew but I  decided to put all the colours in it because they look really nice and it makes me think of rainbow because I really like them I looked at at the original one and it doesn't really have much colour so I decided to put a lot colour on mine to really make it stand out. actually me looking at the rainbow makes me feel really happy and Joyful and encourages me.

Mangere mountain

Hi bloggers on Monday we went on a trip to Mangere Mountain. First we came in and our guides Leilani and Ellie welcomed us. Then they said some things well I didn't really know what they said and our teacher said some things back then we and since our teacher said some things back then we sang a waiata and had morning tea. When morning tea was finished we went for a long walk. The first thing I remember when we got high on the mountains the guide showed us a metal platform with animals and creatures that the people that used to live on the mountain used to eat. There was dog ,crab and eel so do you get the idea now? Then we went to the highest point of the mountain and that was my favourite part. Well after that we went back and on the way back we saw a mountain of rocks on a metal platform as well and the guide told us that the people that live down the mountain had Made rocks on top of each other so that they could cook there kumara inside the pile of rocks. Then we walked back for lunch I was really hungry and tired so I really enjoyed a nice big lunch.
